  • Place: Online + a few HOLA Members in person.
  • Duration: This HOLA Talk will last approximately 1.5 hours.
  • Please connect 5 minutes before the start of the talk. The event will start on time.
  • You are required to be present during the whole session. Do not register if you cannot be present for the entire event.

 


Sobre el instructor

 

Germán Jaramillo was born in Manizales, Colombia, in 1952. He co-founded one of the most important repertory theater company in Colombia, the Teatro Libre, and its School of Acting, where he worked as resident actor, director and producer for almost 30 years in close to forty productions. Several of his roles earned him recognition as best theater actor of the year in Colombia. In 2000 he starred in the internationally acclaimed film La Virgen de los Sicarios, directed by Barbet Schroeder and was awarded the Gold Medal in the Venice Film Festival (2000), where he was nominated for Best Actor and became famous internationally for his work as an actor. He has also starred in other films and TV productions in Colombia and abroad.

In August 2001 he came to New York and founded ID Studio Theater in NYC. He works also at Repertorio Español in New York City and he has been awarded the three most prestigious prizes in for Best Actor in Hispanic Theater in the USA: ACE (Asociación de Cronistas del Espectáculo), ATI, and HOLA.

Cancellation Policy for in-person attendance:

  • This complimentary offer for HOLA members is subject to limited availability. We ask that you register only if you can attend the entire event.
  • In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask for your prompt notification with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Please send an email to inform us of your cancellation at hola@holaofficial.org.
  • Failure to provide timely notice or being a no-show will result in a 3-month restriction from participating in HOLA programming, starting from the event date.
  • To register for events during the restriction period, a $35 penalty fee will be required to waive the restriction.

  • La falta de notificación para cancelar dentro del plazo especificado o la ausencia resultará en la restricción de 3 meses para participar en las actividades de HOLA, comenzando desde la fecha del evento.
