Renée Lavalle is an award-winner, NYC-based queer actor, director, and puppeteer, born and raised in Mexico City. The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA,’18). Proud member of INTAR Theatre’s Unit52 since 2019. Credits include; Emmy-nominated Show Hasta Que Te Conoci (Disney Latinamerica & BTF Media), El Spicy Menu (McDonald’s national commercial), I’d Rather Be Me music video (Mean Girls on Broadway), the original cast of Julio Ain’t Goin Down Like That (INTAR), Foul Shots (INTAR’s MicroTeatro Festival), Third Wing (LaMicro Theater), LORDES (Lenfest Center for the Arts), Noche de Alebrijes! (ArtVallARTa, Mexico), The 24Hour Plays (INTAR), Only Remains Remain (MoMa PS1), Cry, Scream, Shout, Sing! (Queens Museum), Eight Tales of Pedro (Queens Theatre). Winner of a Talia Award and Premio Arte Internacional award for her role of Martirio in La Casa de Bernarda Alba (Coquí Theater ‘23).
