The HOLA Coaching and Career Counseling service offers personalized guidance and support to members navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry. From one-on-one coaching sessions to career counseling workshops, we provide resources and connections to empower individuals in achieving their career goals effectively. With access to industry networks and tailored support, members embark on a journey of self-discovery and professional advancement, equipped to conquer the challenges that lie ahead. 

Julio Agustin Joins HOLA as Our In-House Career Coach!

Julio Agustín (he/él/theirs) has performed in six Broadway shows (Chicago, Fosse, Women on the Verge…, others). Award nominations include Audelco Award, Best Director (Sweet Charity @ New Haarlem Arts Theatre, NYC); Syracuse Area Live Theatre, Best Choreographer (In the Heights @ Hangar Theatre); and Houston Press, Best Choreographer (Guys and Dolls @ Theatre Under the Stars).  He is the author of The Professional Actor’s Handbook: From Casting Call to Curtain Call, contributor to Latinx Actor Training, co-lyricist of Ay! Booking Your Session

HOLA members can now avail themselves of complimentary 45-minute career counseling sessions with Julio. Members may use the time for audition coaching, to review previously recorded self-tapes for feedback, or for any of the following strategies based on The Professional Actor’s Handbook: From Casting Call to Curtain Call:

  • Follow Up for Superior Results
  • Organize Your Home Studio
  • Negotiate a Profitable Contract
  • Others based on client need.

To schedule, interested members must register on the following waiting list. Each month, they will receive an email notification when slots become available, along with the scheduling link. Please note that only a limited number of complimentary sessions are available to HOLA members in good standing each month. Therefore, it’s crucial to register promptly upon receiving the link. If you miss out, don’t worry; you’ll receive an email the following month to try again.

Important Note: Kindly ensure that your HOLA profile is thoroughly updated before proceeding. Failure to meet this requirement may lead to the rejection of your booking. Members are able to schedule one free session every 12 months depending on availability. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
