This master class introduces actors to the ActorUSPs™ Branding System, a practical framework for building a clear, authentic professional identity and turning it into a strategic plan for visibility and career growth.
Participants will learn how to position themselves effectively with agents, casting directors, producers, and fellow artists by refining the core tools of their professional package, including:
- Crafting a compelling and competitive résumé
- Understanding what makes a truly effective headshot
- Selecting the right audition material, with a focus on stage auditions
- Optimizing online profiles for clarity, consistency, and impact
- Aligning branding choices with real-world industry expectations

About the Instructor:

Julio Agustín (he/él/theirs) has performed in six Broadway shows (Chicago, Fosse, Women on the Verge…, others). Award nominations include Audelco Award, Best Director (Sweet Charity @ New Haarlem Arts Theatre, NYC); Syracuse Area Live Theatre, Best Choreographer (In the Heights @ Hangar Theatre); and Houston Press, Best Choreographer (Guys and Dolls @ Theatre Under the Stars). He is the author of The Professional Actor’s Handbook: From Casting Call to Curtain Call, contributor to Latinx Actor Training, co-lyricist of Ay! Ay! Cancellation Policy:
- This complimentary offer for HOLA members is subject to limited availability. We ask that you register only if you can attend the entire event.
- In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask for your prompt notification with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Please send an email to inform us of your cancellation at hola@holaofficial.org.
- Failure to provide timely notice or being a no-show will result in a 3-month restriction from participating in HOLA programming, starting from the event date.
- To register for events during the restriction period, a $35 penalty fee will be required to waive the restriction.
