A Writing Master Class w/ Dominic Colón

I have had the privilege of working as a writer across film, TV, and theater. I’ve learned, created with, and worked alongside industry giants. I’ve programmed for prominent film festivals and been on grant deliberation panels for major arts institutions. One thing that I can say with absolute confidence is everyone is looking for a fresh voice! A voice that jumps up off the page and makes the hair on your arms stand up. That voice lives inside every one of us; we just need to know how to access it. Oftentimes fear and limiting beliefs can prevent us from liberating that story, but we all have it inside, waiting to be freed. My mission is to provide you the inspiration to give birth to it.

Class will consist of:

• Introduction/Lecture
• Individual Writing Exercises
• Group Sharing
• Question & Answer.

In expanding job opportunities for Hispanic actors, HOLA strengthens and supports the available talent pool through its Educational Programs which offers professional development, acting training and networking opportunities for members and the Hispanic community. This is an invaluable resource for artists to further develop their skills, gain practical experience and industry knowledge to support a greater chance of success in their careers. HOLA Master Classes are free for members and scheduled once a month.

Este invaluable recurso impulsa a los artistas a desarrollar aún más sus habilidades. Ganando experiencia práctica y conocimientos del área; aumentando así, las posibilidades de éxito en sus carreras. Las clases magistrales de HOLA son mensuales y gratuitas para los miembros.

Cancellation Policy:

• This complimentary offer for HOLA members is subject to limited availability. We ask that you register only if you can attend the entire event.
• In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask for your prompt notification with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Please send an email to inform us of your cancellation at education@holaofficial.org.
• Failure to provide timely notice or being a no-show will result in a 3-month restriction from participating in HOLA programming, starting from the event date.
• To register for events during the restriction period, a $35 penalty fee will be required to waive the restriction.
