50th Anniversary HOLA Awards Gala
Celebrate Hispanic & Latin Talent in 2025
The Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) invites you to become a sponsor of its 50th Anniversary HOLA Awards Gala. This milestone gathering of NYC’s Hispanic and Latin creative community will honor exceptional talents who have made outstanding contributions to theater, film, television, streaming, and media. With creative direction by director/choreographer Luis Salgado (On Your Feet!, In the Heights), The 50th Anniversary HOLA Awards Gala will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the historic El Museo del Barrio (1230 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY).
As the highlight of the evening, Lin-Manuel Miranda—Pulitzer Prize, Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning creator of Hamilton and In the Heights—will receive the Raúl Juliá HOLA Founders Award, one of HOLA’s highest distinctions. This prestigious honor recognizes Miranda’s transformative contributions to the performing arts and his commitment to uplifting Latinx voices on stage and screen.
Widely recognized as one of the most prestigious accolades for Latino artists in the United States, the HOLA Awards celebrate exceptional achievements across theater, film, television, streaming platforms, media, and other performing arts disciplines. By honoring extraordinary talent and creativity, the awards elevate Latin and Hispanic cultural contributions, inspiring future generations and fostering a legacy of artistic excellence and representation.
The HOLA Awards also shine a spotlight on artists and institutions that have achieved the highest levels of excellence nationwide, while continuing to champion outstanding Latin/Hispanic theater in the New York City metropolitan area.

About HOLA
HOLA is a 501c(3) arts service and advocacy organization founded in 1975 by a core group of Latino actors working in New York to address the inequities created by the casting system that underemployed Hispanic actors and relegated Latino characters to negative stereotypes. HOLA is dedicated to expanding the presence of Latin/Hispanic artists in entertainment and media through their development, cultivation, education, empowerment, and recognition. For almost 50 years, HOLA has been a crucial resource to the New York Latin artistic community, providing educational programs, networking opportunities, and hosting a Hispanic talent database available to casting directors and agents in addition to distributing casting notices and job opportunities to members.
