PODCAST INTRODUCTORY MASTERCLASS

Are you interested in launching a podcast or audio-based project but unsure where to begin? Do you have ideas, stories, or conversations worth sharing but feel overwhelmed by the technical side of production?

In today’s digital landscape, creating engaging audio content requires more than inspiration alone. Strong storytelling, clear structure, and an understanding of the tools behind podcasting are essential to building a show that connects with audiences and stands out.

This 3-hour intensive master class is designed for creatives, performers, storytellers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in transforming ideas into compelling auditory experiences through a streamlined and practical approach to podcasting.

What You’ll Learn

• The Blueprint – Discover your unique angle, define your audience, and learn how to build a podcast rooted in authentic storytelling and strong narrative structure.
• The Studio – Learn the essentials of podcast production, including microphones, recording interfaces, software basics, and how to create professional-quality audio on any budget.
• The Launch – Understand how to organize, record, and release your content effectively, from planning a season to uploading on hosting platforms while maintaining a sustainable creative workflow.

Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to bring your voice and ideas to life.

Format

This is an interactive working session. Participants are expected to take notes, engage actively, and keep their cameras on throughout the session.

General Information and Requirements:

• Class will be held in English and Spanish.
• Class will be a virtual format via Zoom.
• Recording of this class is prohibited.
• You will receive an email with the Zoom link one day before the class.
• Please click on the meeting link at least 10 minutes early to take care of any technical issues that may happen.
• We will not be able to provide technical support during the masterclass.
• Make sure you connect from a quiet room/area, avoid any distractions while the class is in session.
• Please DO NOT register if you cannot be present for the entire class.
• No one will be admitted once the class has started. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• There will be a Q&A section at the end of the session.

Cancellation Policy:

• This complimentary offer for HOLA members is subject to limited availability. We ask that you register only if you can attend the entire event.
• In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask for your prompt notification with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Please send an email to inform us of your cancellation at education@holaofficial.org.
• Failure to provide timely notice or being a no-show will result in a 3-month restriction from participating in HOLA programming, starting from the event date.
• To register for events during the restriction period, a $35 penalty fee will be required to waive the restriction.
