The Art of Storytelling
About the Master Class:
I am fascinated with the everyday, mundane and transformational storytelling that we all experience. We do it from the moment we wake up, recalling dreams, thoughts that enter our minds. We do it when we talk on the phone, changing the tone of our voice depending on who we are talking to. The moment we step outside, when we run into a neighbor, reacting to a stranger or to something we are used to seeing everyday and one day is not there anymore. The way we live our lives is an ever-evolving story inside the biggest stage called LIFE.
As an actor our job is to play and honor characters as authentically as we can in order to tell the story. How do we do this? With awareness, by listening, reacting and mixing 3 of my favorite ingredients. Heart, Mind and Imagination.
This class will be taught in English and Spanish.
