Celebrate and Evaluate Latino Talent in New York.
The Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) invites the theater community to participate in the jury responsible for evaluating productions in New York that showcase Latino talent.
Since 1999, the HOLA Awards gala has been a cherished tradition, honoring exceptional Hispanic talent.
As part of a revitalization effort led by HOLA’s executive team and Board of Directors, we are renewing our HOLA Theater Jury Committee each year. In this spirit, we seek the participation of the artistic community to form this year’s committee to evaluate plays produced in New York by Latino artists.
HOLA Awards jury members commit to attending all submitted productions in New York City, providing assessments, and voting to designate nominees and winners. This is a unique opportunity to support the New York theater scene and become an agent of change, celebrating the Hispanic and Latino community’s pride in the city.
We are currently seeking members for the HOLA Theater Jury Committee for the 2024-2025 season. To be considered, you must be an HOLA Member with extensive knowledge of theatrical arts, especially Hispanic theater in New York and beyond. We are looking for actors, choreographers, dancers, directors, musicians, playwrights, producers, teaching artists, theatrical designers, journalists, and more.
Join us in recognizing and promoting Latino talent in New York’s vibrant theater community.
