Alessandra Ruiz is a Cuban-American actress originally from Los Angeles, California, but is currently based in NYC. She currently has a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Devised/Physical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton. Alessandra has also trained with Frantic Assembly for devised and physical theatre work. She recently completed The Atlantic Acting School’s Summer Intensive Program last August. Alessandra is a proud member of INTAR Theatre’s UNIT 52 program.

Alessandra recently performed in Antonia Cruz-Kent’s Columbia MFA Thesis play “IVERA” as the titular role of Ivera. She is currently in rehearsals for the world premiere of Bradly Valenzuela’s play “Pieces of People: A Two-Sided Eulogy” as Lucy. The play will be a part of the 2024 New York Theatre Festival at the Hudson Guild Theatre in July.
