Diana Pou’s love for the arts began at an early age. Her classical piano training started at the National Conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A passion for Musical Theatre brought Diana to New York to complete studies at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), William Esper Studio and Steps On Broadway. 

Ms. Pou’s theatre credits include Boundless Theatre Company: “Mercado Libre” (B); Pregones/PRTT: “The Desire of the Astronaut” (Emily/Ensemble/ Anna u/s) ; “¡GUARACHA! A Musical” (China); Repertorio Español: “In The Time Of The Butterflies” (María Teresa Mirabal); “La Canción” (Angie) and “In the name of Salomé” (Natalia). Musical Theatre credits in Dominican Republic: “In The Heights” (Vanessa) and “High School Musical On Stage” (Gabriella Montez).  She has been featured on acclaimed TV series, commercials and as a backup singer for Maluma at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Her latest feature film “La Condesa” is available to stream in U.SA. and Canada.

Diana has released multiple singles with musical partner Gilberto Gabriel Díaz “Pancakes de Avena” and “Manos sin Pena”. Now known as the music duo “TeTxtié” these two produced together their most recent tracks “Amor Psicodélico” , “Me Voa Pegá” , “#FollowU4Life” and released a mini-album titled “Clásico” which contains new musical arrangements of some of their previous songs. Their most recent single “Sal Pa’ Fuera” is now available to stream.

Ms. Pou’s most recent stage work as “B” in Boundless Theater Company’s production of “Mercado Libre” has awarded her at the ATI Awards 2022 as Best Independent Theater Actress ; at the HOLA Awards 2022 as Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actor ; at the LATA awards and Talía awards as Best Drama Actress. Her previous work as “China” in Pregones/PRTT ¡GUARACHA! was reviewed by the New York Times as “Heartbreaking”.
