2023 HOLA Awards Gala Benefit
The Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA), invites you to the HOLA Awards Gala Benefit. The 22nd annual ceremony will take place Monday, October 16th at the legendary home of Edwin Booth, The Players NYC, located at 16 Gramercy Park South. The gala benefit honors top Latino and Hispanic talents who have shown excellence in film, television, and theater.
The HOLA Awards are considered among the most prestigious accolades dedicated to honor Latino Artists in the United States.
This year, HOLA will be honoring the life and career of pioneer Cuban-American director, León Ichaso, with the creation of a new award to honor his name and celebrate individuals who have displayed unwavering perseverance in their artistic careers. This new award – the HOLA León Ichaso Award – will be presented to musician Paquito D’Rivera.
The HOLA 2023 Chita Rivera Lifetime Achievement Award will be bestowed on ten-time Tony Award and Drama Desk nominee, Graciela Daniele, in recognition of her outstanding artistic career. We are also proud to present another new award in her name to celebrate choreographers who have redefined the art of movement, infusing their choreography with innovation, emotion, and a profound understanding of storytelling. This new award – HOLA Graciela Daniele Excellence in Choreography Award – will be presented to the internationally renowned director and choreographer, Sergio Trujillo, in celebration of having made history as the first Latinx recipient of the Tony Award for Best Choreography.
