David Fajardo Heredia is an Actor Director, Master in Dramatics Arts and Founding member of ConAlma Theater. His expressive work focuses on the analysis of stage movement, the  word as poetic container and the body as the first stage. With his art he has reached different academic and cultural communities in countries such as Mexico, Chile, the United States, as well as his native Colombia. His theater credits in New York include “Un Reflejo”, “Our home on Ludlow”, “Fragmentos de Silencio” and “Un Chico Normal” among others. As a trainer he has managed social integration processes through theater and acting as a vehicle for reflection and articulation, with communities of diverse origins, from people with cognitive disabilities, professionals, and amateur actors, to ex-combatants, demobilized from war. As a result of these training processes, he has directed the pieces “Un dia hermoso como hoy” (2014), “Arde Londres” (2015), “Tercer llamado” (2016), and the street piece “A 90 Kilometros” with the Taller Popular Sur (2020). Apart from his acting, vocal and physical skills, David plays different instruments from Andean and South American folklore.
